House of Delegates

2025 Seated Delegates

The AAPA House of Delegates (HOD) is the policy-making body of AAPA. The HOD meets at least once a year to discuss and vote on policies, principles and positions that guide the AAPA and the PA profession.

The HOD is composed of representatives from AAPA's constituent organizations (COs), which include chapters (based on geography), specialty organizations, caucuses (focused on special interests) and the Student Academy. Each CO is entitled to at least one delegate in the HOD. The number of additional delegates a CO may have depends on its membership numbers.
