TAPA RECOGNIZES THE TEXAS PAs INDUCTED TO AAPA’s DISTINGUISHED FELLOW PROGRAM TAPA is proud to spotlight the four Texas PAs inducted into AAPA’s Distinguished Fellow Program. AAPA recognizes these individuals as AAPA’s “most dedicated members; distinguished Fellows are recognized for their outstanding contributions to the profession and the communities they serve. They embody what it means for PAs to Go Beyond – for patients, communities, and the profession as a whole.” The Distinguished Fellow program, launched by AAPA in 2007, is an initiative to celebrate PAs' remarkable contributions in various capacities, such as professional achievement, leadership, collaboration, lifelong learning, and community involvement. All inductees receive a pin and a welcome packet from AAPA. This gift highlights TAPA’s President, Janith Mills, MPAS, PA-C, DFAAPA, pictured below.
Less than 2% of AAPA members hold the title of Distinguished Fellow. The honorees for this year have been recognized based on their commendable accomplishments from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.
